YOLANDA

Yolanda is a graduate of the National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) in Falls Church, VA, where she was also a Massage Therapy instructor for 5 years. Previously she taught chemistry and biology for 12 years in Bulgaria. She is nationally certified, as well as Virginia and Fairfax County licensed. She practices various techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release & Trigger Point Therapy. These encourage relaxation and improvement of the client’s overall health, encompassing the physical, mental and energetic levels. She is able to customize each session to address the client’s immediate concerns and long-term goals. Yolanda is always looking to expand her knowledge and has taken continuing education classes in Myofascial Release, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Foot Reflexology, Prenatal Massage, Medical massage and Massage cupping. Yolanda is a firm believer that a massage is a step closer to a stress-free life and everybody should experience it. She considers each client a gift and an opportunity to learn more about the world and hopes to make it a better place to live in for all of us.

FIONA

Fiona was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and now lives in northern Virginia.

Educated at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies, Sydney Australia and the Core Institute of Massage, Tallahassee Florida, she has been a massage therapist for over 25 years. She is certified many modalities including deep tissue, therapeutic, remedial and rehabilitative massage.

Fiona is well traveled and has a broad variety of personal interests.  She is empathetic and takes pride in her ability to help people feel empowered, comfortable, relaxed and feel their best.

LORI

Lori has been a massage therapist for over 25 years, practicing in California, New York and the mid-Atlantic region.  Her focus for the past 15 years has been in clinical massage, assisting patients in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic conditions.  Lori’s approach is a compilation of soft tissue manipulation techniques, assessment and recommendations regarding corrective body mechanics for everyday living.  Over the past 15 years, Lori has been an instructor of massage therapy as well as an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College for massage therapy and medical terminology.   She is currently an instructor and the Assistant Director of Education a Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage.

TOM

Tom has been practicing massage since 2006 for love of the art and the personal experience of the stress management that regular massage therapy provides, particularly to the fast paced life of Washingtonians. As a massage therapist who also works a full-time desk job, he is well aware of the stresses that seated work entails and the methods to bring balance to mind and body. Tom is a graduate of the National Massage Therapy Institute, and has studied at Esalen, as well as taken continuing education in table Thai massage and Reiki, all of which are infused into a flowing practice that can meet clients where their needs are, from gentle relaxation to deep tissue work.
